Socrates Comenius 2.1 project "MuseumScouts"
 
MuseumScouts is a highly motivating collaboration program for secondary schools, science and art education institutes and museums of all disciplines. In the project we are following the creative ways young people explore, investigate and raise information. The questions asked in the analysis of the exhibits can be answered using modern media such as texts, photos, graphics, animations, videos and sounds. With the aid of an online-based author tool multimedia course units can be prepared from these contents which in turn are presented in the museums and are available for all visitors as a learning source. A cycle of ongoing newly prepared knowledge is created.

Envisaged outputs: Multimedia presentations and interactive training courses (WBT) produced by students teacher's training course package (self study WBT, handbooks, face to face training and online collaboration museumsscouts conference in Lithuania (LT) dissemination material online and printed, museumsscout portal in partner countries.
